Find answers to common questions about BridgePass.
What is BridgePass?
BridgePass is a secure platform for managing immigration documents. It connects immigrants, attorneys, and employers through a consent-driven system where you control who sees your documents and for how long.
Is BridgePass a legal service?
No. BridgePass is a document coordination platform, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, file applications, or connect to government systems. Always consult a qualified immigration attorney for legal guidance.
Who owns my documents?
You do. BridgePass acts as a custodian only. You retain full ownership of all data and documents you upload. You can download, delete, or revoke access at any time.
How does document sharing work?
When you share a document, you choose the recipient, set a time limit (up to 1 year), and grant specific access. The recipient can view the document during the access period. You can revoke access instantly at any time.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Every access is logged in an immutable audit trail. We implement industry-standard security practices and never sell your data.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from Settings at any time. All personal data, documents, and permissions are permanently removed when you delete your account.
What happens when a permission expires?
When a permission expires, the recipient loses access to your document automatically. You receive a notification, and the expiration is logged in the audit trail.
How do attorneys request documents?
Attorneys can send document requests through the platform. You receive a notification and can choose to fulfill the request by uploading or sharing the requested document, or decline the request.
